Postmortem


I think this project has taught me all I needed it to at this point. It all started out as my submission to the Epic Games Megajam, but I thought my idea and the style were cool and fun to work with, so I continued with it. If I do anything else with it, it'll be evident in my new project, which can be found here. I was really happy and proud of the final result, especially since it's a great indication of how much I've grown in my journey to become a full-time game developer. One final note, I used Clembod's pixel warrior sprite asset for the player character, as well as Aleksandrlvanov's wonderful stylized castle asset for the environment. Some day soon, I'll be using my own assets, but for now, a huge thank you to these two artists.
